I want to put it in another laptop as a replacement for the drive already in there because it is double the capacity! The drive I wish it replace also has Windows 10 installed. In the latter case you could still keep the HDD as a secondary drive anyway. bignastyid : Yeah, but replacing a hdd to remove malware is overkill. If its that bad just do a clean reinstall, no need to replace the hdd.
