Based on Sport Canada’s long-term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity. WebSkating is part of who we are, and Skate Canada is the perennial leader in teaching Canadians how to skate. Some dream of reaching an Olympic figure skating podium, or enhancing skating skills for hockey, ringette or speed skating.
