If you put a flood above the hood your going to get a lot of reflection off the hood and it's not going to serve it's purpose. Floods are made for short distance and spread out. Take off the wiper arms, take off the top part of the cowl, remove the bottom part of the cowl by using a pick/hook to pop off the two metal clips on the bottom and needle nose pliers to squeeze and remove the two white plugs.
